In 1989 Hurricane Gilbert decimated Jamaica and a number
of other islands in the Caribbean. In the process, the
Royal Jamaica factory in Kingston was destroyed. To keep
the brand alive, the company was forced to relocate its
production to the Dominican Republic. Now at last, after
years of planning, production has returned to its homeland
in the state-of-the-art facility in Maypen. With this
renewed production, there come again those Jamaican filler
tobaccos that only now have reached their maturity and
are once more being treated with the secret family additive
applied during the fermentation process that has made
Royal Jamaican so highly prized by the aficionados everywhere.

Notes:
I really like this line. Most of their stuff is really
good. Mild but interesting. This one was not. It burned
like shit and tasted like shit. I tossed it less than
half the way through. It came cedar wrapped...didn't help.
