Penamil Oro N°
6
Origin: Canary Islands
Size: 6.00 X 42
Wrapper: Natural
From Qios.net:
Penamil is a genuine Cuban-Canarian child. The tobacco
trader José Lorenzo Penamil emigrated to Cuba and
married the daughter of a Cuban tabaquero also by the
last name of Penamil. Returning to La Palma, he began
producing the cigar that later on became so famous. The
Penamil cigars are appreciated for their flexible and
mild texture as well as their out-standing workmanship.
In addition, they have a well-balanced composition of
their blend (Brazil, Domincan Republic, Havana), in which
aroma and strength combine with a pleasant burning process
(Mexican binder, Connecticut wrapper). Moreover, the Oro
series has an impressive design.

Notes:
Well I don't know about an "impressive design".
It was a solid well made corona cigar, and it was really
good. It was definetly on the mellow side, but it had
a lot of flavor to it. The word that comes to mind is,
smooth. This thing had flawless construction, a perfect
even burn, nice easy draw, and lots of smoke. Smoking
this stick was very easy, no hassles with relighting or
flaky ash, it was perfect. I don't usually like a mild
cigar, but there was something quite relaxing in this
thing.
This cigar was a gift from my friend, Angel Francisco
Ros Llopis. Angel lives in Spain and is a collector of
cigar bands. He has a very impressive site showcasing
his extensive collection.
