Notes:
The cigar was the red labeled
original Graycliff. The taste
was very smooth and on the lighter
side as compared to being full-bodied.
No bite or aftertaste whatsoever.
A pleasure to smoke and if you
can get some at less than retail
then I believe you will enjoy
them. A very good cigar!

Notes:
One of the most expensive cigars on the market. A box
of these coronas range from $270.00 to $330.00 for a box
of 25, that's somewhere between $10 - 13 each.
I have two words under whelming. First of all there is
a lot of hype surrounding the cigar, being made by Avelino
Lara the creator of the Cuban Cohiba. Next is the story
(which is true) about how they were fashioned for the
exclusive Graycliff
Hotel in Nassau. And of course the price and availability.
Sometimes the hype can raise your expectations to unreasonable
levels. Maybe that's what happened to me.
The cigar itself was not a bad smoke. It was totally
mild, kinda flat almost. The construction was fine, although
the wrapper seemed a bit thin. It had a good draw, and
produced a good volume of smoke. But it was not overly
interesting. It did not have what I like to call the WOW!
effect. It burned rather quickly, less than a half an
hour for a six inch cigar. I smoke 'em hard so I deliberately
took my time with this one and it still burned like dried
leaves.
I was disappointed. My fellow Village Idiot CigarJeff
out in Bridgeton, NJ got this thing for me from a friend
of his. I let is sit for over a month. I fired it up the
other night all alone so I could concentrate and enjoy
the cigar. It never happened. I don't usually judge a
cigar just by one stick, but to be honest this one just
did not show me enough to say...One More Time.
