The Thomas Hinds Vintage I Series are a special limited production edition. Introduced in 1997, the number of cigars rolled is limited by the amount of aged leaf that was in reserve for the year. The Vintage series is one of the best that Thomas Hinds makes, rolled with only the highest grade aged leaf, matured and blended to achieve a rich and mellow flavor. These cigars provide a complex medium to full-bodied smoke that is very smooth without the harshness.

The opinions and prices that surround this cigar are all over the board. Most places hail it as a real winner and are charging between $100 & $180. A few places are calling it a dog and dumping it for around $40. At $40 it's a steal, at $180 I'll pass.

Overall this was a good cigar. It was very well made with a beautifully smooth natural wrapper. It burned well except for a brief streak in the middle which once corrected was not an issue. It was definitely on the mild side of medium but it did have a lot of flavor. I liked it, and as I said if the price was right I'd buy more.
