Notes:
What a great cigar. This stick was everything you'd expect
from a Perdomo and more. I'm not a big fan of the "Torfecto"
vitola but WTF...it's a Perdomo how bad can it be? My
problem with a Torfecto is more often than not you get
a bad burn right off the bat which usually takes half
the cigar to correct itself - If is does at all. This
was not the case with the Perdomo 2 and BTW it's pronounced
“Perdomo Squared” in case you missed that
day in 5th grade math.
The cigar was thick and solid, perfect construction.
The maduro wrapper was jet black and oily. The taste was
like rich soil. It made me think of how really dark soil
up in the mountains smells. It was wonderful.
The burn was slow, even and perfect. The ash solid and
white. The draw started off a little tough but I'm sure
that's because of the funky shape. Once it got past the
tapered foot the draw opened up big.
These are not cheap cigars. JR's
does not even carry this line of Perdomo, TBS-Cigar.com
has them for around $134.00 or you could always go to
Thompson's
and pick them up for $177.00.
Whether you're a smart shopper or a Thompson's customer,
my recommendation is buy some of these and stash them,
this is not a cigar you hand out to your drunk dork friends
during Monday Night Football.
