Mayorga Torpedo Maduro
Origin: Nicaragua
Size: 6.75 x 52
Wrapper: Maduro
From
The Cigar Hut:
Get ready for unbounded pleasure in the Mayorga brand,
introduced in 1997. It offers a Nicaraguan shade-grown
Habana 2000 wrapper and Nicaraguan-grown, Cuban-seed binder
and filler leaves. It has a medium-to-full body and rich,
sometimes spicy flavors.

Notes:
This excellent smoke, the best smoke/dollar I have ever
had, is pleasing in all ways. The wrapper is supple and
full of spicy flavor. The filler is well packed, burns
exceedingly even and moderately slow/cool, with earthy
coffee and chocolate tones. The only caveat may be that,
given the size, this pleasant experience may turn into
an overly long lunch-hour or evening repast. To compensate,
I look forward to trying its more moderate Gordita Maduro
Torpedo (5.00 x 52). Excellent when experienced with an
equally rich Scotch.
