Don Kiki Limited
Reserve 2000 Robusto
Origin: Nicaragua
Size: 5.00 X 50
Wrapper: Connecticut 2000
From Corona Cigar:
Kiki Berger, the unofficial ambassador of Esteli, Nicaragua,
created the Don Kiki Limited Reserve as his flagship cigar.
This box pressed cigar features a golden-brown wrapper
called Connecticut 2000. Connecticut 2000 is a special
hybrid tobacco that is derived from Connecticut-shade
tobacco seeds that are shade-grown in Nicaragua. This
wrapper combines the burning qualities of Connecticut-shade
tobacco with the richness of Nicaraguan tobacco. The long-filler
tobaccos for the Don Kiki Limited Reserve are blended
from three different regions of Nicaragua. The end result
from this blend of tobaccos is a mild and smooth, yet
flavorful smoke. After six months of aging, each cigar
is box pressed and packaged into cedar cabinets of twenty-five.
We want a lot of people to be able to enjoy this cigar,
so were are offering this cigar to you at a very special
price. A box of 25 Robustos or Coronas are only $49.95.
This cigar is worth twice the price, but since we are
the importer and distributor of Don Kiki cigars, we’re
giving you factory direct pricing.

Nice taste. Easy to smoke.
Would buy if price is right.

Notes:
First off, I hate the name. I feel like I should be wearing
a lei and drinking a Pina Colada while I smoked this.
This cigar was given to me by a fellow garhead who I am
not sure wants me to mention his name so I won't, but
I thank him nonetheless.
Regardless of the name this is a pretty fair cigar. I
felt like it started a little bitter (I find most cigars
do) and the draw was a little loose at the start. As I
got into the cigar the taste improved dramatically and
surprisingly the draw improved also. In the middle this
was a tasty smoke and I really enjoyed it. Towards the
end it got a little harsh so I had to dump it a bit early.
I would not pay 50 bucks for this cigar since I think
there are better cigars out there for 50 bucks or less.
All in all I would give this cigar a 6 or 7 on a scale
of 1 to 10.
Aloha
