Don Kiki Limited
Reserve 2000 Corona
Origin: Nicaragua
Size: 5.50 X 44
Wrapper: Connecticut 2000
From
Corona Cigar:
Kiki Berger, the unofficial ambassador of Esteli, Nicaragua,
created the Don Kiki Limited Reserve as his flagship cigar.
This box pressed cigar features a golden-brown wrapper
called Connecticut 2000. Connecticut 2000 is a special
hybrid tobacco that is derived from Connecticut-shade
tobacco seeds that are shade-grown in Nicaragua. This
wrapper combines the burning qualities of Connecticut-shade
tobacco with the richness of Nicaraguan tobacco. The long-filler
tobaccos for the Don Kiki Limited Reserve are blended
from three different regions of Nicaragua. The end result
from this blend of tobaccos is a mild and smooth, yet
flavorful smoke. After six months of aging, each cigar
is box pressed and packaged into cedar cabinets of twenty-five.
We want a lot of people to be able to enjoy this cigar,
so were are offering this cigar to you at a very special
price. A box of 25 Robustos or Coronas are only $49.95.
This cigar is worth twice the price, but since we are
the importer and distributor of Don Kiki cigars, we’re
giving you factory direct pricing.

Notes:
This is a lower priced bundle cigar offered by Don Kiki.
Price was $29.95 for a 25 cigar bundle, or about $1.20
a smoke, from Cigars International. This particular cigar
is a standard corona size, 5.5" X 44 ring guage.
I smoked the whole bundle over a month. Quality of construction
is acceptable to good; no noticeable flaws or seconds
in the bundle. Flavor is medium; smoked cool all the way
to the end. The Don Kiki bundle is better than most cigars
in this price range. Nothing particularly exceptional
about this cigar, but no complaints either. Draws well,
especially for a lower priced cigar. Recommended for a
20 to 30 minute everyday smoke.

Notes:
This was a pretty tasty little cigar. Well made, box
pressed solid construction. The burn was slow and even
and the draw was smooth and easy. A great little morning
smoke in my opinion. However, at 50 bucks a box you can
do a hell of a lot better. If these things were in the
25 dollar range I'd smoke one every morning. But for 50
bucks, I'm gonna stick with any of a number of other cigars.
I guess being the "Unoffical King of the Entire
Cigar World" has some mighty royal expenses.
My advice...mooch one, don't buy 'em.
