Cupido Criollo Doble
Origin: Nicaragua
Size: 5.50 X 50
Wrapper: Nicaraguan EMS
From
Superior Cigars:
This is a new line from Cupido, introduced in 2001. It
is medium-to-full in body and features a special Criollo
wrapper grown on the Cupido farms in Esteli. Balancing
the customary deep Cupido flavor with a peppery finish,
this line is pressed from the top and bottom only, giving
each cigar an oval shape that is easy to hold and smoke.
All sizes are offered in cellophane wrappers inside boxes
of 25.

Notes:
Cupido Criollo is a Nicaraguan puro made in Estili, Nicaragua.
It's a full-bodied, earthy, and robust cigar. The doble,
a fat corona size, is about a 20 to 30 minute smoke, and
is full of traditional Nicaraguan flavor. The Criollo
has an unusual sweet tasting wrapper that may appeal to
some, but I found it distracting. Not everyone will like
this cigar. It is definitely full-bodied and has some
kick. Available from Cigars International at about $2
a stick.
