From JR Cigars:
The Genuine Counterfeit Cuban Cigar is a blend of potent Esteli, Nicaraguan Ligero and Viso from the Perez Plantation, mixed with a base of Cuban-seed Seco. Bound with an Ecuadorian binder and rich, silky rosado Ecudorian Sumatran wrapper, this cuadrado-pressed cigar offers the smoker a velvety-soft smoking experience with a distinct spicy bite.

Notes:

This box pressed cigar was fun to smoke. It had huge billows of smoke and lasted for 3+ hours! The taste was rather mild with hints of leather and dirt. The construction was firm with an easy (but not too easy) draw. The burn was consistent throughout and had a thick firm ash. This will become the house cigar, replacing Macanudo Robust.

Notes:

The more I smoke 'em the more I love Nicaraguan cigars. When I first started smoking cigars, the Nic's were the poor bastard children of the cigar world. Over the years, I think they have come into their own. Rivaling the big names from Honduras the DR and even Cuba.

The Genuine Counterfeit Cuban is a fun cigar. When you smoke these you know your smoking a cigar. There's no pussy footing around here. First of all the construction is perfect. The easy draw gives up volumes of rich thick smoke. The flavor is strong and all tobacco. They've got a hint of cinnamon I think but not being gay I can't say for sure. All I know is this is a kick ass smoke. The box pressing makes that much cooler.
