1959 Robusto
Origin: Honduras
Size: 5.00 X 52
Wrapper: Maduro Habano
From
Dee's Fine Cigars:
This cigar commemorates the exodus of Cuban cigar makers
from their home island of Cuba in 1959. It is a box pressed
beauty that every connoisseur will enjoy. It comes in
a unique tri-level commemorative box. This cigar boasts
a rich, dark Habano wrapper, a Honduran binder and Honduran,
Nicaraguan, Cost Rican, Mexican and Dominican filler.
It is medium to full bodied depending on your palate.
Rated a Best Buy in Cigar Insider. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Notes:
This cigar had a medium body that was creamy and smooth
and just got better as it went. I walked away from it
momentarily and came back to the wonderful araoma that
filled the room. I highly recommend this cigar....PERIOD

Notes:
This
is a wonderful example of the cigar maker's art, from
the embossed band to the impeccable construction. Dark
wrapper with an oily sheen, very few veins, and those
very fine. Smooth and solid, good weight in the hand.
Clipped cleanly, lit and burned perfectly. Large volumes
of smoke, tight, light gray ash. Pre-light aroma was rich
and heavy with coffee and good, solid tobacco. Flavor
was complex, and changed as the stick burned. Never turned
harsh or bitter with a long finish. This deserves to be
in every smoker's humidor. I found it far superior to
the Silver Edition, but I only had one of those for comparison.
