Punch Gran Puro Santa
Rita
Origin: Honduras
Size: 4.50 X 52
Wrapper: Natural
From E-Gars:
Punch Gran Puro is all-Honduran with an extra-dark, extra-bold
Havana-seed wrapper developed exclusively for this cigar
in the rich San Agustin Valley of Honduras. In addition,
the binder leaves as well as the wrapper leaves are sun-grown
and carefully selected from the highest primings to ensure
the cigars’ special color and flavor. The result
is the puro of puros--a cigar impossible to imitate.

Notes:
First of all I'd like to say that I love this site I
appreciate the candor and the reality of the originators
and the reviewers.
This is a sun-grown Honduran puro with a dark oily wrapper.
I smoked this with a clean palate and was drinking spring
h2o, on the way home from my local smoke shop. After a
while I found myself going the long way home because this
little guy's flavor and strength (med-full) was screwing
with my sense of direction.
Anyway I found myself back at the smoke shop and bought
a hand-full for $15. This is a great way to spend an hour.
Ash, burn and construction were typical of a punch. Flavor
profile was more complex than the Corojo, which I like,
and the finish was spicy, not pure pepper, and long. Taste
remained consistent from start to finish, this is a nubber.
I am most impressed with the price. in the $3 range for
me this one is hard to beat.
Thanks guys.
