Wrapper: Ecuador shade grown
From
JR Cigars:
Entirely reblended, the Por Larranaga has returned to
its roots. It is once again a super-smooth, medium-bodied
blend that never fights the palate, and brings relaxation
to its smoker. This is a must-try cigar, as there is,
once more, peace in a Por Larranaga.

Notes:
This is a really fine cigar. The Por Larranga is a brand
name that has been around for over 100 years. The word
"quality" and Por Larranga go together. This
Honduran blend cigar features some of the best aged tobacco
available. The wrapper is golden brown Ecuadoran grown
Conneticutt shade wraper, and the binder and filler are
Honduran. Flavor is on the mild side of medium; certainly
milder than most Honduran cigars. The tobacco is well
aged and not a bite anywhere. Construction is excellent.
Burns smoothly and evenly all the way down. Not a defect
in the entire box. (Incidently, the cigar boxes are crafted
to resemble leather bound books with the words "Por
Larranga" and the cigar size imprinted on the outer
cover.) The Por Larranga is a really top rate cigar for
those smokers looking for a mild to medium but flavorful
smoke.
