JR Cigars:
The JR Special Corona was one of our flagship brands.
Handcrafted by Rolando Reyes, Sr., this cigar used to
sell like hotcakes in plain plastic bags - no boxes, no
bands, no nuthin' - just flavor! Regretfully, due to disputes
with the maker, we ceased production of this great cigar
in 1994. But all is well now and, with much enthusiasm,
we are once again able to offer this fantastic smoke.
Earthy, rich, full of flavor... it is like being in a
time machine! A "must try" cigar.

Notes:
I would consider myself the "Jimmy Buffet"
of cigar smokers. Searching the would for the perfect
cigar instead of cheese burger (not saying that's a bad
idea!) so I stumbled on to experiment with the JR Brand
firstly the JR Special Corona and at a good deal by the
way. 50 Special Corona No.7's for 75 bucks. That's a deal.
I finally get the stogies and suddenly my humidor seemed
extremely small. My personal humidor said it would hold
50 but I guess not 50 humongous like the JRs. So, I bought
a kickass humi that would fit 100 (nice, glass top rosewood,
"The Presidente"). Now I am saying I just had
to fork out for a new humi so these stogies better be
good.
I lit it up a very weak beginning but 1/2 inch later
it exploded into a spicy, almost creamy strong flavor
almost like a Hoyo Sultan.
But then it ended with a semi harsh finish. But that could
have been from the Chilean Merlot.
Personally I thought it was a great cigar that if you
had the chance to try it. But for me it was great cigar
and not THE CIGAR. Therefore the quest continues.
