Montesino
Super Belicoso
Origin: Dominican Republic
Size: 6.75 X 54
Wrapper: Natural Connecticut Shade
From
Milan Tobacconists:
This well-known brand debuted in its current
format in 1981 and is handmade with Dominican
filler and binder, and Connecticut Shade wrapper.
Its quality of construction and medium bodied
taste, combined with its modest cost, makes
it an excellent value. Montesino cigars have
been part of the Fuente family for a very long
time. The Pyramid stands along with a slightly
different blend which consists of an Ecuadorian
wrapper with an Opus X binder.

Notes:
Well here is one of the few Fuente products
that I did not love. It was not a bad cigar.
But it's just that I've heard so much about
these things and they don't come all that cheap,
and I let it rest for over six months, and
POOF! Nuthin', it was totally ordinary. Burned
fine, medium in strength. The flavor couldn't
have been all that great cuz I really don't
remember anything remarkable about it. I love
Fuente cigars, but you can't bat 1000 all the
time.
