Notes:
Decided to risk my life ...again....
and tried to smoke this cigar
one more time. Surprise, surprise
not bad. But here's the rub,
I bought a box, OK 2 boxes of
these sticks in 1999.
I was suckered by the first
two I ever smoked and decided
right then that I was hooked.
Every year since I would try
to salvage my pride in this
purchase by trying to smoke
a couple but each result was
the same...utter disappointment!
Usually a papery taste to begin
then mellowing off to a very
mild flavor then ending very
hot and bitter. Six years in
the humidor has helped. Once
again they started out papery
but mellowed out very quickly
then got better and better.
Shocked, I nearly told my wife,
then thought better of it as
she couldn't care less. I thought
these sticks were dead to rites.
They are very mellow in flavor;
can be a bit dry in the mouth
but not bad on a cool night
in Oct.
