From Corona Cigar CO:
Born of Cuban seed, Cabanas cigars achieve their renowned rich flavor through a unique combination of Dominican long filler, binder and the famous Habana 2000 wrapper. Medium to full bodied, this robust and sultry smoke delights the senses with flavors too complex to detail and leaves the palate yearning for more.

Notes:

The cigar looked a little rough, but the construction functioned fine and the draw and burn were perfect. This medium-bodied cigar had a slight harshness to it and was light on flavor. It had the taste of young tobacco in the mouth and the smoke seemed a little disjointed, like the cigar needed some age. I didn't care for it the way it was, but I think it will improve with further aging.

Notes:
The presentation in a banded white paper was very nice. Very well made, and good looking cigar. Fairly good draw with medium smoke produced. This one had burn problems from the get go, it began at about 1/3 of the cigar, and it actually went nearly out at one point, and I had to relight it. I thought the taste was on the harsh side, I did not enjoy this cigar like some of theirs in the past. Burn continued really ragged, and frankly, I just finally put it down. I give this one a 4.

Notes:

I've liked this line for quite sometime. This particular vitola is not my favorite of the line. The reason is the "Torbusto" shape tends to cause the cigar to burn unevenly and half the time you can't correct it. This particular cigar did burn evenly. Without the worry and hassle of a bad burn I was free to enjoy the cigar for what it was. Now I tend to lean more towards the Maduro of any line. But I've gotta say, this cigar was far better than any of the Cabanas Maduros that I have smoked. The flavor was rich & earthy, yet smooth all the way down. It had no real spice or pepper to it, just good solid tobacco taste. I won a box of these on CigarBid.com, for about half of what they sell for normally so I won't complain. It was worth smoking.
