Notes:
The Hemingway line was one that I'd been very eager to
try so I finally bit the bullet and scored some.
Appearance (14 of 15 possible)
The Hemingway series comes in a nice oily Cameroon wrapper.
The few I smoked had a nice tooth with hardly a vein at
all.
Flavor (23 of 25 possible)
The smoke from this stick was great. The Cameroon wrapper
gives a a nice sweet spice. I'd say it's a medium bodied
smoke. Very easy to smoke. tasted like sweet cream and
pepper, with a nice tobacco flavor.
Smoking Characteristics (23 of 25 possible)
This cigar smoked very well. I was a little worried about
its Perfecto shape but it burned even and slow all the
way down. I touched it up only once but it was pretty
windy outside when I smoked it so I attribute the need
for touch up to the wind. The draw was just slightly firmer
than I liked but still totally manageable, giving up clouds
of nice creamy smoke.
Overall Impression (34 of 35 possible)
This is a great cigar anyway you look at it. The smoke
is creamy and smooth with a good depth of flavor. It's
a nice balance of spice and sweetness. It burns cool and
long. For a Cameroon lover this is a MUST, for everyone
else it's...A Must!
