Origin: Dominican Republic

From
SmokeShop Magazine:
Adan y Eva was conceived by Carlos Fleitas, president
of Cuban Desire Corporation. The cigars use five blends
of tobacco which are aged for a year in Spanish cedar.
Fleitas commissioned well-known Cuban artist, Marti, to
create the design and logo for his cigar, which includes
a touch of art and history combined with romance.
Seven shapes are offered: Panatela (6 x 42), Figurado
(4 3/8 x 46), Robusto (7 x 50), Belicoso (5 1/2 x 52),
Churchill (7 x 48), Double Corona (7 1/2 x 50), and Piramide
(6 3/8 x 50). Suggested retail ranges from $4.80 to $9.20
per cigar, or $120 to $230 per 25-count box.

Notes:
I must be asked
to smoke more bad cigars in the average week than most
people even SEE in a year. while my 18 years in the business
have been fun, they have occasionally also been tedious.
But then, once in a while, I'm rewarded with a surprise
that makes me remember why I got into this business in
the first place.
I was given an
Adan y Eva Panatela by Sr. Carlos Fleitas, President of
Cuban Desire Corp. (maker of Adan y Eva). Carlos and I
had discussed how difficult it is to find a really good
Panatela or Lancero, arguably the most elegant of all
sizes (think tuxedos, baccarat, 007, Monte Carlo, etc.)
He said I had to try his and, being a sucker for a free
smoke, I agreed. Good thing!
A marvelous, medium-bodied,
classically-structured cigar, with a complex nature which
belies its size. Cool-burning and softly aromatic, I found
this to be as satisfying as any panatela I've ever smoked
and I've smoked nearly everything made in the last 50
years.
Not many cigars
are worthy of remembrance on their own merits. This one
is. Try one with a Jack Daniel's Single Barrel. I promise
you won't leave your chair even if the house is on fire.
