Fonseca Delicias
Origin: Cuba
Size: 5.00 X 40
Wrapper: Natural
Pablamos
Cigars:
Fonseca cigars first appeared in 1906 and in truth they
have little changed over the last 100 years. Maybe its
their aristocratic heritage, maybe its because they appeal
to those looking for a mild Cuban cigar, maybe its simply
because they are excellent value for money. The point
is that almost 100 years after their birth, Fonseca cigars
are still here, many are not. The picture on the lid of
the box is that of Señor Francisco Fonseca, a Spanish
aristocrat of dapper taste who liked to present his cigars
wrapped in a delicate tissue paper, a practice that Fonseca
cigars have maintained up to the present day. Fonseca
are amongst the softest in taste of the Habanos Cubans
with a rich but mellow flavour.

Notes:
These
are box-pressed Tres Petit Coronas. Each cigar comes wrapped
in tissue paper. The box is marked "Totalmenta al
Mano" (handmade, but you already know that).
I smoked more than half of the box in the past month
and noticed that most of the cigars are very consistent.
They are rolled MUCH too tight (consistently!)
The flavor is OK, but next time I will get the Romeo
y Julietta No.3 Tubos, which are less expensive and
much better in both construction and flavor.

Notes:
This
is another tasty and rather inexpensive machine made Cuban
cigar. The construction is a bit rough, but overall a
decent smoke. Not quite as strong as most of these little
guys but still a full flavored stick.
